Patricia Lamour MBE is the CEO of Aspire Education Group and co-founder of the GEEDA network and consultancy (Gender Education and Enterprise Development for Africa). An international educator, gender expert and development consultant she brings over 30 years of insight and experience of improving the lives of young people, women and communities in the UK, Europe and Africa.
Passionate about the transformational power of education and leadership to close the inequality gaps, she leads the Group to work with European & UK partners to promote the success of children and young people with fewer opportunities and with African partners to develop education for wealth and women’s empowerment strategies.
A former headteacher of an international school in Africa and advisor to Ofqual, the national exam regulator in the UK, Patricia is developing an international independent school model to future proof globally minded children for 4IR. Patricia received the African Achievers Awards at the House of Commons as a role model for girls’ education and was honoured by the Queen with an MBE for her services to Diversity in 2017.
